Cleaning of feed machinery and equipment is a headache for feed factories, especially for factories with busy production tasks. But if this issue is ignored, feed products will not guarantee long-term quality stability. For many feed factories, many products are high oil content or adhesive materials. Once problems occur, the consequences are relatively serious. In fact, almost all equipment needs to be cleaned after a period of use, some need to be cleaned outside, and some need to be cleaned both inside and outside. What is being discussed here is the part that can affect product quality, mainly concentrated inside the equipment
Due to the fact that ordinary people cannot see inside the equipment, they do not know what is inside, and if they do not pay attention to inspection, it is often overlooked. If the production management department does not have a practical and feasible cleaning plan and unremitting supervision and execution, equipment cleaning work often ends in a tailspin. It is understood that some enterprises may not even know how to clean up their equipment due to the lack of professional management personnel
In this article, based on the impact of equipment cleaning on product quality, the following equipment cleaning suggestions are proposed, in order to contribute to the formation of a relatively complete equipment cleaning plan for feed enterprises.
Cleaning of the mixer
After a period of use, a layer of material will form inside the mixer. If the oil content is high, a thick layer of material often accumulates after one shift. Some mixers are equipped with liquid anti mold spray heads and liquid methionine spray heads, so material will accumulate on the inner wall of the mixer, next to the nozzle, on the shaft and blade, and on the switch door. So, in general, feed factories, cleaning is carried out after the end of the shift. Before cleaning, the power is turned off, and the cleaning personnel lock the gate knife themselves. The key is placed in their own pocket, and they use specially made tools to scrape off the material layer adhered to the inner wall, nozzle, blade, and shaft. After cleaning, the mixer door is opened, and the door and sealing ring are all cleaned. The materials cleared on the same day can be recycled according to the requirements of quality control. If the time is too long and there is odor or mold, the materials cannot be returned to the machine and will be scrapped. Some mixers are relatively large and require personnel to enter in order to clean them up. At this time, safety work is particularly important. In addition to locking, a dedicated person is also required to supervise them. After cleaning, the person entering the mixer is responsible for opening the lock of the power box door. The cleaning frequency of the mixer is recommended to be 1 to 3 days.
2. Cleaning of the granulator system
The granulation system is composed of a granulation machine, a cooler, a crusher, and a grading screen. The most important parts that need to be carefully cleaned are the modulator part and granulation chamber part of the granulation machine. Because steam enters the above parts and interacts with the feed, it increases the moisture, heat, and viscosity of the feed, making it easy to adhere to the inner walls, shafts, and blades of the modulator. The structure of the granulation chamber is complex, with almost every accumulation of material. It is difficult to open the modulator of the granulation machine, so the frequency of cleaning is generally not high. Some feed factories and other modulators break down and are dismantled for cleaning once. In order to ensure product quality, the author believes that cleaning once a week to half a month is more appropriate. If the machine is shut down for a long time, it should be opened for cleaning to prevent adhered feed from becoming moldy. The granulation chamber should be thoroughly cleaned once after each shift when the oil is added. During variety adjustment, if there is cross contamination between two varieties, it must be cleaned before making the next variety. After the granulation is completed, wait for the cooler to empty, and one person should enter the inlet hole to clean the residue on the four corners and sieve plate with tools such as wooden sticks, and wipe off the four walls; Thoroughly remove dust and accumulated material from the level gauge and glass. The two ends of the crusher are prone to material accumulation.
Cleaning of 3 permanent magnet cylinders
A permanent magnet cylinder is a type of material that removes magnetism, such as iron. Iron filings have an impact on feed varieties and are harmful to equipment. Failure to clean in a timely manner may lead to equipment damage and may also affect the feed's passability, causing blockage. It is recommended to clean up after each shift. The impurities removed from the permanent magnet cylinder are treated as waste.
4. Cleaning of initial cleaning sieve, finished product inspection sieve, and grading sieve
The initial cleaning screen, finished product inspection screen, and grading screen are all used for cleaning, impurity removal, and grading, and are prone to blockage. Especially for the initial cleaning screen, when there is a large amount of impurities, it is easier to block and needs to be cleaned in a timely manner. After the end of each shift, the above sieves are usually opened to clean the rope ends, impurities, hard blocks, etc. inside, keeping the interior of the sieve clean and the sieve eyes not blocked. The cleaned materials will be treated accordingly according to the actual situation, and some of them can be utilized
5 pulse bag dust collector and cyclone dust collector cleaning
Pulse bag dust collector and cyclone dust collector are devices that collect dust. The dust is adsorbed on the surface of the bag or transported to the silo or bag with the air blower. After long-term operation, a thick layer of dust will accumulate on the inner or outer walls of the bag (insufficient pulse or more severe failure). It is recommended to open the door after each shift and clean it with a wooden stick or compressed air. The negative pressure dust removal of the special crusher, if not cleaned in a timely manner, will seriously affect the production. The cyclone dust collector is not easy to open. Check the glass observation hole every day to see if it is blocked and whether the air shutter does not rotate. If any of the above problems occur, they need to be dealt with in a timely manner. After clearing the accumulated material, gently tap the brake cock and conical cylinder with a rubber hammer to shake off the accumulated material on the inner wall of the cylinder.
Under normal circumstances, the dust inside the brake can be utilized, and any mold or deterioration must be scrapped.
6 material silos
Silos, including cylindrical steel plate silos, room bulk silos, crushing silos, batching silos, granulation silos, finished product silos, buffer silos, etc., are storage equipment for storing a certain amount of raw materials. All of the above silos need to be cleaned, but their cleaning requirements vary depending on the materials loaded and the frequency of use.
Cylindrical steel plate silos, house type silos, and bulk material silos generally store granular raw materials such as corn, wheat, and soybean meal. Before using a new silo, it is necessary to enter the silo and sweep away the screws, mixing strips, cement blocks, etc. left at the connection between the steel plate and the cement foundation or on the ground. Garbage and other debris between the discharge port and the scraper machine should be cleaned up, and then rice bran and corn should be washed successively until there are no debris before unloading and storage. During use, regularly empty the warehouse, enter the warehouse to check if there is any rain leakage in the cylindrical warehouse, clean up dead corners, agglomerated materials, and moldy materials, clean them thoroughly, and then load new raw materials. The cleaning frequency should be 1-2 months.
The crushing silo, ingredient silo, granulation silo, and finished product silo are generally located inside the workshop. The vast majority of them are welded and assembled from steel plates, with a majority of square shapes. Therefore, material will accumulate on the corners, upper parts of the cone, upper edges of the angle iron, and rivets. Some silos have more accumulation of dead corners, and this part of material will not flow for a long time and stick to the warehouse wall. Some factories use high moisture raw materials, and after crushing, hot gas will gather in the silos
