What should the manufacturer do if the feed crusher often gets clogged?
Crusher blockage is one of the common faults in the use of pulverizers. Many times, we encounter powder blockage when using it, and the reasons for this failure are mostly due to improper use and operation. If you have been frequently clogged since the beginning and have been using it for a period of time without clogging, it is possible that the internal surface of the new machine during the running-in period is not smooth enough, and after using it for a period of time, the internal surface of the equipment is smooth without clogging, and the discharge is smooth. There are many times when improper operation can also cause this malfunction. Below, we will analyze the approximate causes and solutions for everyone.

Firstly, check to see if the feeding speed is too fast. If the feeding speed is too fast, it will cause blockage in the air outlet of the crusher; Improper matching with the conveying equipment can cause the discharge pipeline to weaken or become blocked after there is no air. At this time, we should adjust the feeding amount to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Otherwise, an increase in equipment load will cause blockage. During the feeding process of our crusher, we should always pay attention to the deflection angle of the ammeter pointer. If the rated current is exceeded, it indicates that the motor is overloaded. Prolonged overload can burn out our crushing motor. In this case, the material door should be immediately reduced or closed, and the feeding method can also be changed by increasing the lifting auger feeder to control the feeding amount. Users should choose the appropriate hoist auger feeder based on the actual situation. Due to the high speed, high load, and strong fluctuation of load of the crusher. Therefore, the current of the crusher during operation is generally controlled at around 85% of the rated current. Try not to overload our motor.

Secondly, the discharge pipeline is not smooth or blocked. Many times when the equipment is working, there is no sound of crushing corn in the crusher, so we turn off the crusher. This is incorrect. We should let the crusher idle for a few minutes, let all the materials in the discharge pipeline enter the mixing tank, and then turn off the crusher. Otherwise, the remaining materials may become damp and clump after a few days, blocking our crusher.

Thirdly, the hammer blade is broken, severely worn, aged, the sieve mesh is closed, blocked, and broken, and the moisture content of the crushed material is too high, which can cause the crusher to block. Broken and severely aged hammer blades should be regularly updated to maintain the good working condition of the crusher, and the sieve should be regularly checked. The moisture content of the crushed material should be less than 14%, which can improve production efficiency and prevent the crusher from clogging, enhancing the reliability of the crusher's operation. During the peak production period, please lower the feeding speed slightly to ensure that the motor does not burn and the equipment does not block materials.
